Fergus Falls Backcourt Club is devoted to fair play and sportsmanship. Our number one priority is that players who choose to play in our league enjoy their experience and create lasting, positive memories. We expect that all participants in our league including Coaches, Players, Parents and Officials have the same mindset and contribute to building the exceptional experience for all those involved in the game.

The Backcourt Club of Fergus Falls originated in the mid 1970’s with Norm Newell being the catalyst/organizer of the program. It predominantly was a Saturday program for boys and girls in grades 3 through 8 for a number of years.

Several years ago, the club decided to include boys and girls in Kindergarten, first and second grade which is called the “Mighty Mites” group. Over the past several years additional programming including a summer skills academy, Monday night lights, Shot Club, involvement in the area league play, and teaming with the varsity coaches on their summer camps for boys and girls have afforded our youth participants year-round opportunities to stay active and at the same time participate in other activities.

Our Saturday Program typically has 250 to 300 participants.
